Logic Problem #7: English Disasters!

Four ex-pats living on Crete fly back to the UK, each to attend a special event. Unfortunately, each event turns out to be a bit of a catastrophe. From the clues below, work out which relative each of the ex-pats was visiting, what and where the event was, and what went wrong.
 

Lily was glad she hadn’t eaten any of the Cornish pasties that gave so many people food poisoning. The runaway cow was last seen heading up the High Street in Oxford.
