Pictures from the January Rethymnon CIC Excursion

Here is the Bugle team’s mini - picture gallery from the great Rethymnon CIC excursion that took place on the 31st January (see, there are advantages to having a flexible deadline!). Many thanks to Albert for being a great guide and for helping us to have a marvellous day out. We had a lovely tour, visiting the Cretaquarium, the Nikos Kazantzakis museum, and the archaeological museum in Archanes. We also had a great lunch (brilliant pork and lemon potatoes by the way) where we were able to chat to old friends and new, and our drive took us through some marvellous scenery. Our pictures don’t begin to conjure up the whole day - and unusually for us, there are no photos of people drinking krasi, nor of olive groves and vineyards (we were too busy having a good time, and yes, we may have become a bit fixated by the marine life!). But still, we hope our selection gives you a bit of an idea of the wonderful things to be seen in just a few hours on a winter’s day on Crete. We’re really looking forward to the next excursion!
