Put Your Name in Lights: Become a Bugle Sponsor!

Become a bugle sponsorWe are now distributing at least 200 hard copies of the Rethymnon Bugle at various locations across the island. North, South, East, West, we’ll be travelling there! And we have loads more readers who click on to our online version. It is really gratifying to note just how much the Bugle has grown in very few years and we thank everyone for all their support so far. The Bugle is a FREE publication and we aim to keep it that way for as long as we can.

However, due to escalating taxes, print, paper and petrol costs it is becoming increasingly difficult for us to keep the paper afloat (if you get our drift).

Advertising revenue obviously helps us to make ends meet - and we are very grateful to all those people from local businesses who have placed advertisements with us. It really means a lot! But we can’t survive on this alone. So, we have now set up an all new sponsorship scheme. For just thirty euros a month, regardless of whether you represent a commercial enterprise or are a private individual, you can sponsor a page of the Bugle and you will be acknowledged in each and every issue. Get in touch with the Bugle team to find out more!

The www.nowheraklion.com website created by Clive Birch is a comprehensive site that provides updates about events in our capital city.

There are any number of other useful websites that focus on Crete - Google and ye shall find!

In Greek, for the Rethymnon area ΡΕΘΥΜΝΙΩΤΙΚΑ ΝΕΑ is our daily local newspaper (except Mondays), www.goodnet.gr is a pretty good website in terms of reporting local news.
