Crete Kennels Medal Winner

Rethymnon Coffee Morning Bugle - Crete Kennels Medal WinnerCongratulations to Kimberley of Crete Kennels, Armeni, for running (and completing!) the 10 km race staged as part of the Athens Classic Marathon event on Sunday, November 4th. The Bugle team were there to cheer her on and it was a memorable day. Kimberley skipped into the stadium like a mountain goat looking fresh as a daisy in under 59 minutes — managing to knock at least 10 minutes off her personal best. All that training during the heatwaves on Crete during the summer clearly paid off, and we were seriously impressed! Back here on our lovely island now, Kimberley and Peter are now gearing up for the holiday season. So for those with dogs in the Rethymnon region who may be thinking of going to visit family and friends and leaving their pets here, remember, space is limited, so get in touch ahead of time!

Welcome to Nellien Klomp, Hypnotherapist and Healer in Missiria

The Bugle welcomes Nellien Klomp as a new ‘enterprising local’ in the Rethymnon area. Nellien, who is based in Missiria, (suburb to the East of Rethymnon), is a hypnotherapist who specializes in regression therapy, previous life therapy and inner child work. She obtained her qualifications in Utrecht, Holland, and had her own practice there.
As a healer, she draws on influences from a variety of perspectives —including the Indian arts of healing. However, whilst she recognises the value of ancient traditions and incorporates spirituality into her work, she is also firmly grounded in modern day life.
Rethymnon Coffee Morning Bugle - Nellien KlompNellien has started her own practice in Missiria,. Rethymnon. Sessions normally last one and a half hours. The first session is an introductory one, which sometimes lasts a little longer. During this session Nellien will discuss the aims and the needs of the client and outline a proposed programme of consultations. A contract will be drawn up between client and therapist so that both parties are clear about expectations. Nellien uses client centred therapy—this means that Nellien focuses on issues that the client wishes to resolve. The goal of the therapy is to give the client self-efficacy in order that they have the confidence to apply exercises and tools acquired during the course of the programme to future challenging scenarios in their life.

Whilst Nellien is comparatively new to the Rethymnon area, she has spent several years living and working in Greece, so is familiar with Greek culture and lifestyle. A native Dutch speaker, she is also proficient in English. She normally charges €50 for an individual session.
To contact Nellien for further information you can email her at nellienklomp@hotmail.com or telephone 6939351674
