This month is Party Month !!! And yes, before you say it, we know
that pretty much any month is party month in Rethymnon. But this month
really is Party Month. Town has already been well and truly gripped by
Carnival Fever. Here at CMB staff headquarters things are no different,
and we are all hunting out the face–paints, wigs and silly string.
Inside this issue you will find lots of Carnival related features, and
details of all the events that are going on in town. |

 If you thought that you could get away from
Valentine’s Day, here on Crete, I’m afraid you’re sadly mistaken. And,
certainly not at CMB, folks. We’re milking this one for all it’s worth
(let’s face it, who wouldn’t in our position?!). So you will find
several items in this issue that are linked, directly or indirectly to
LURVE. For the rest, well, as you can see from the Table of Contents,
this edition is bigger than the last. There may be a few surprises in
store….! |
Next Month: Winter Music |
 In next month’s edition we will be featuring the winter music scene in Rethymnon, partly because, without being totally flippant, by next month it will nearly be spring, which is when a lot of the weekend music venues shut down for the tourist season.
