Rethymnon Coffee Morning Bugle - Crete Kennels

Christmas at Crete Kennels was hard work for Kimberley and Peter, but they wouldn’t have had it any other way. It was pretty much a full house for the whole of the holiday season, the kennels playing host to dogs of all nationalities and breeds - the dogs all had a great time, of course. A lot has happened since Kimberley and Peter arrived here in April with three suitcases between them. A bare plot of land has been transformed into a palace for pooches, and the house for the owners isn’t bad, either! It certainly hasn’t all been plain sailing—just ask Peter about electricity poles and builders! But they are now starting to reap the benefits of all their hard work. For their first winter in Crete the icing on the cake was the arrival of central heating for the house in December (yes, it can get a little chilly at night, even this far South).
Kimberley and Peter can look back on 2007 with a sense of pride. Onward and upwards for 2008!
