Party Hats in Rethymnon!

Once again here in Rethymnon there was plenty of fun to be had over Christmas and New Year. And, as ever, the municipality had a few surprises up its sleeve. We had the great ‘will there won’t there be an ice rink?’ question - a bit much to ask for the tropical heat of Boxing Day, but it was up and running (er, that should be skating) by New Year’s Eve. The town gave the international community a party on 27th December, and many people from the Rethymnon branch of the CIC saw in the New Year in fine style. We had concerts, fairground rides and even some reindeer. Χρόνια Πολλά everyone!
