Weather Vane

This month’s crossword has a bit of a meteorological theme to it (‘weather’ having been much in the news of late). Our compiler has also managed to surpass himself in terms of stretching the boundaries of legitimate word usage. Look out for suspect abbreviations, acronyms and the occasional foreign word! Logic Problem #6: Career Change

Four people, who are thinking of changing their jobs have come on holiday to Crete to consider their future (where else?!). Each of them has chosen some form of relaxation activity to help clear their thoughts. From the clues below work out why each person is thinking of leaving their current job, what their chosen activity is and where they go to contemplate.

Robin isn’t being head-hunted and he is not the person who paints by the lake. The researcher is moving house in the autumn. The accountant, who is not Beryl, does yoga, but not by the pool. The person who enjoys reading hates their boss.
Gladys is not the person in marketing who listens to music. Warren, who likes to sit by the pool, is bored with his job; the person who in Human Resources goes to relax by the sea.
