Logic Problem #28: Philosophy Monopoly |

It was always going to happen, really. In a university which shall remain
nameless, instead of having finals exams, students are asked to play ’Philosophy
Monopoly’ . From the clues below, work out which student had which examiner,
what the philosophical question was, what the response was and the result on the
Monopoly Board (oh and in case you are wondering, this is not the most sensible
puzzle we have ever set).
Able was asked about the purpose of pigeons. However, his response was
not ’if p then q.’ Fidel’s examiner went by the natty name of ’Wittgenstein is
mine’, but Fidel did not win a ‘Free Throw’.
Mabel’s response to her question was: ‘Who the hell are you?’ Idle’s,
whose set question was not ‘Does God wear socks?’ got the ‘Chance’ card from the
Monopoly Board. The person asked to discuss chocolate, who was not Mabel was
sent directly to jail.
Able didn’t get ‘Community Chest’ as his Monopoly option. The response to
Russell my Feathers’ question was: ‘So join the queue’. Neither Able nor Idle
had the examiner called Marx out of Ten, and Idle’s examiner was not Socrates
with Ease, either. Fidel did not respond to his question by saying ‘Hang on, I
need a pee’.
