Rethymnon Coffee Morning Bugle - Happy Birthday

Spring on Crete brings out the romantic side of the Bugle team (though, don’t worry, gentle reader, we have kept any soppy ballads that we might have composed in ’an emotional moment’ to ourselves! The hills might be alive with music, but not ours). The island looks fantastic now: green and fresh, the Crete that many people never see. It’s not yet beach weather as far as we are concerned (though some of the braver ‘early bird’ tourists in Rethymnon apparently think differently). Still, we’ll have more than enough sunshine and clear blue skies in the months to come, so we’re enjoying the ’moody clouds’ in the mountains whilst we still can. And this is the merry month of May. What could be better?!

May 2008 Highlights:

This month we feature Cretan herbs on our Spotlight Page. We have travelling tales from intrepid explorers, and our very own unique Eurovision tribute. As ever, our roving reporters have been out and about working hard to bring you news and views from around the region. All this plus community updates, events listings and more!
