Logic Problem #10: Postcards from the Edge |
 |
|
Four young men sent worrying postcards back home. From the clues below work out who sent postcards to whom, what the young men had been doing during the summer, where the cards were being sent from, and what ‘alarming additional information regarding future plans’ was given by each of our little darlings.
Dan, who had not spent the summer donkey trekking, managed to upset his girlfriend with his postcard.
The guy who sent a postcard to his mother horrified her with the information that he was going to join the foreign legion – this wasn’t Derek who had sent a postcard from Olympia saying he’d spent his summer water skiing. Darren, who sent his postcard from the Parthenon, announced that he was thinking of becoming a monk.
Digby wasn’t the person who sent the postcard from Delphi saying he had been painting a mural. The guy who announced he was getting married really upset his former boyfriend. The person who sent a card to his father had not spent the summer tiling a roof. |
